As already mention, most people spend most of their time indoors and breathe the indoor air. When the air in your home or car is polluted, your sinuses lining becomes inflamed, causing the ostium (sinus opening) to become blocked stopping proper drainage. Moistening and filtering indoor air will improve your sinus drainage.
When you keep breathing polluted air, your bronchi (airways that carry air in and out of the lungs) become inflamed, causing lung disease such as asthma and other respiratory breakdowns.
Pure indoor air will support sinus drainage and reduce allergic reactions triggered by airborne substances.
