Balloon Sinuplasty

|
Balloon sinuplasty is a new surgical procedure used by doctors to help people who are suffering from sinusitis. Sinusitis is an infection or inflammation of the sinus cavities hindering proper drainage, which may result in facial pain, headaches and nasal congestion. Sinusitis affects around 37 million Americans each year which makes it one of the most common infections.
This procedure is conducted as an outpatient procedure with minimal pain, no swelling or bruising, less bleeding because there is less trauma to the sinus lining and less tissue removal, which lead to a speeder recovery after surgery.
What happens is that, the ENT specialist inserts a catheter (a small, flexible tube) inside the nostrils up into the blocked sinus. The catheter has a tiny balloon on its tip which is inflated when inside the blocked sinus passage, just enough to open the sinus passage. There is no cutting involved, the balloon spreads the linings apart and allow the sinuses to drain. Once the passageway is open, the balloon is then deflated and removed.
After balloon sinuplasty there are higher chances that the separated linings can go back to its original size before having balloon sinuplasty, because you have not treated the problem. With balloon sinuplasty you may have to undergo this procedure many times, whereas, SinusWars remedies correct the underlying cause.
Disadvantages of having a Balloon Sinuplasty:
- Damage to the brain, because the brain is close to the sinuses
- Not all patients will qualify for this procedure
- It does not treat all sinus related conditions i.e. Nasal Polyps. Balloon sinuplasty only pushes aside the membrane whereas nasal polyps need to be cut out
- The balloon does not fit into every sinus cavity
- Only about 100 doctors around the country are trained to offer it
- The balloon can fracture the bones in your sinus cavity when the balloon is being inflated
Advantages of SinusWars remedies:
- SinusWars remedies treat all sinus related conditions including nasal polyps without any incisions, or cutting the sinus membrane
- Anyone who suffer from sinusitis can use SinusWars remedies (young or old)
- SinusWars remedies have no known side effects
- There is no physical damages caused by SinusWars remedies to the affected sinuses
Here are all the sinus related conditions that we treat and the correct remedies for each...
